We’re fighting for a union because drivers deserve the driver’s seat!
Rideshare drivers keep Illinois moving, but Uber and Lyft are leaving us behind and without a voice. We want to change that.
Like all workers, we deserve the right to unionize. Right now, there is no federal or state law that provides a clear right to unionize.
That’s why drivers are coming together with IAM Union and SEIU Local 1 to change it and join the union of our choice.
Throughout the Illinois Rideshare Drivers Alliance, we are fighting for a path through legislation that allows us to join the union of our choice.
A union means higher pay, real protections, and a voice that can’t be ignored.
It’s time drivers had a seat at the table and the power to control our future.

"I think that everyone should have the right of passage to receive decent pay that gives them the ability to procure a quality lifestyle as an Uber driver. Therefore, I support organizing a union for all Uber rideshare drivers."
